Someone You Love Deserves to be Safe, Belong,
and Be Loved As They Are
For many queer people, religious harm is not abstract. It shapes family relationships, spiritual identity, mental health, belonging, and the ability to trust sacred spaces.
If someone you love has been wounded by theology, rejected by a church, or taught they had to choose between faith and who they are, you do not have to stand by helplessly.
You can help build something different.
Religious Harm Does Not Stay Inside Church Walls
When a queer person is told they are sinful, broken, disordered, or unacceptable to God, the harm follows them into families, schools, relationships, mental health, and spiritual life.
Families and allies often carry that harm too — watching someone they love grieve, hide, leave, or struggle to believe they are worthy of love.
DIVINE Spaces exists because love should never require silence in the face of spiritual violence.
Your Role Matters
You do not need to be a theologian to stand for queer dignity.
You do not need to have the perfect words.
You do not need to understand every part of someone’s journey before you defend their right to be safe, whole, and loved.
Allies help make this work possible by giving, sharing, advocating, and inviting faith communities to do the deeper work of transformation.
What Your Support Makes Possible
Your gift helps DIVINE Spaces:
Know a Faith Community That Needs This?
Many congregations believe they are welcoming. Fewer have done the deeper work of examining theology, culture, leadership, policies, pastoral care, and accountability.
If you know a faith community that is ready to move beyond good intentions, invite them to learn about becoming a DIVINE Space.
